In a few weeks Google intends to start Street View in Germany. But instead of using this opportunity for pushing tourism or improving education, lots of German people and politicians complain about Google spying into their yards.
Epic fail: They don’t want Google to publish their faces and houses, complaining this online. With visible faces. In front of their houses…
BTW: Only in Germany a website owner can be sentenced to pay a high fine because of analyzing the visitors IP address (this is considered to be private data and thus part of data protection laws).
Facepalm Republic of Germany!
